Create calendar items like meetings/appointments like workflow emails.

As we can create a procedure type Workflow and set parameters in a view to send emails. Can we add functionality to create calendar items in the same way? where we can set meeting time/attendees (Required/Optional)/Location/Duration, etc.

These files can be created by creating an .ics file in the proper format. Please see the following link for the file format.
