All ideas are welcome. Just because the Idea doesn't make it into the product immediately does not make it a bad idea.

If we have Dev and Test environments, where source data s refreshed from legacy in Dev, and from dev in test.
in such scenario same datasources will point to different servers, but if the cts is including datasource by default and overridng the server name, it is a high risk that data source is pointing to wrong server.
Developers can exclude datasource in their specific shippable item, but usually they forgot to do so.
so if there is any generic setting where we can exclude datasource from all cts shippable items, it will help in the above scenarios.
