I propose we should permit a filter or sort in the child pane to persist when switching context in the parent pane.

For example in transform if I am looking at targets (Parent Pane) and Reports (Child) I often sort and filter the child pane and then browse though the different Targets. The way the software is currently designed I must reapply a filter or sort every time I switch target.
