Hello,
It would be nice to have an option in CTS Config to exclude certain fields of a table with the option to keep the old value in the target instance or reinitialize the field.
For example, CTS is transferring all records of tables that are configured in CTS Config. Some fields of a record however are only valid in the source instance. Examples of such fields are duration, record count and timings fields in Collect and Transform. (support ticket https://support.boaweb.com/hc/en-us/requests/15912)
These fields should be reinitialized in the target instance during CTS Transfer so it is clear they were updated and have to be processed again.
Hello Andy, thx to consider this as new functionality.
I work now for a certain time with psaTransport and can say it works much easier and faster as CTS+. Happy to discuss this with you. I'm in close contact with Erik Weldon to crush some small bugs.
Maybe just rename psaTransport to CTS++, make some small improvements, and we have the perfect solution for transports. ;-)

Hello Bert - Thanks foryour suggestion. CTS is not replaced by psaTransport. psaTransport is 'Professional Services Accelerator' that can be used instead of CTS. It has some additional funcionality. Later this year, it's likely that the CTS process will be enhanced. I'll take this feedback into consideration.

I got the information CTS is replaced by PSATransport. This tool has the functionality to exclude some fields of a table to be transfered to the target instance. This would solve this issue.
However, I'm not sure PSATransport will keep the old data of the target instance or reinitialize the data. To verify...
