Hierarchy Display with more controls

The hierarchy display being built in dspMigrate can have more options to make it a perfect tool for displaying hierarchical data sets (Ex: Org charts, Cost Center hierarchies and Asset hierarchy etc). The current capabilities allow us to build the table in SQL and display the tree structure in DSP.

We could also have few more options as below:

1. Downloading the tree structure in xls, pdf or word formats. This helps us in forwarding that information to relevant Business parties.

2. Allow zoom in and zoom out options on the page like a Acrobat pdf viewer.

3. printable format like Acrobat pdf viewer.

4. Add color palettes options to mark/generate different color sets for tree structure.

5. Mouse drag n drop interaction if possible.

    Admin response

Moving this idea to Product Solution as it is not a part of dspMigrate.  There are many ideas in this post please separate into multiple ideas so that they can be tracked individually.  Some of these have already been delivered in the Hierarchy Visualization released this week.  Please go to the BOA united innovation main site for the recording of the roll out of the hierarchy.

    1. Downloading the tree structure in xls, pdf or word formats. This helps us in forwarding that information to relevant Business parties. (This is NOW exportable into PNG file and can be downloaded in that matter.  If you want to download the data you can provide a DSP page displaying that actaul data and to do that already.)

    2. Allow zoom in and zoom out options on the page like a Acrobat pdf viewer. (This exists in V1.1)

    3. printable format like Acrobat pdf viewer. (Version 1.1 this exists with exporting to a PNG)

    4. Add color palettes options to mark/generate different color sets for tree structure. (This exists please refer to the data insiders post here)

    5. Mouse drag n drop interaction if possible. (This already exists in the original release).
