All ideas are welcome. Just because the Idea doesn't make it into the product immediately does not make it a bad idea.
Currently the default column widths of the main worksheet are determined by the length of the header text/Technical Column Name in the DSP.
This causes the display of the Translation Column Name being cut off in the main worksheet.
Most users are familiar with the Translation Column Name instead of the Technical Column Name and the downloaded template/worksheet should be ready for them to complete what is needed without spending extra times to make some adjustments on the worksheet.
In fact that the width for both the Technical Name and Translation Name columns are Auto Formatted in Transform Reports downloaded to Excel, this should be consistent across the DSP.
I would like to recommend adding a new configuration to a future release of the DSP

Definitely a good idea. I will add this to the parking lot for prioritization. However, there are number of Excel Integration features that will most likely be prioritized before this one, such as the ability to filter list boxes by selections in other fields (i.e. Filter Region when Country has been selected).
