All ideas are welcome. Just because the Idea doesn't make it into the product immediately does not make it a bad idea.
When exporting to SAP, especially when not using DataServices, every field has to be treated as a character string. It would be useful, and save time and frustration (error converting character to numeric!!!), if we had an option for all Normal target fields (and corresponding source z fields) to be generated as NVARCHAR rather than taking the SAP definition of Decimal / numeric fields. (e.g. where a field would by default be DECIMAL (N, M), make it NVARCHAR (22)).
This might be implanted as an indicator in Autogen - Configuration, or at an Object or Target level in dspMigrate.
