As a designer I have access to pre-determined engine provided tasks that are not associated to a data entry such as:

• Review as a Decision point with (Approve and Reject)
• Finish Role
• Validate
• Cancel Request
• Initiate Request
• ad hoc, actions performed by a swim-lane, created ad-hoc by the designer for re-use.

These could come from a template gallery that perhaps could even allow users to create templates in the future.
