In Collect, I have 244 targets, all the Target sources are currently inactive in QA and DEV, but occasionally we need to refresh specific ones. it would be better if one of three things were changed:
- There was an active flag against the Target that controls all the target sources as a group, so that the sources can be left active but deactivated at the Target level, see image. This would be the best option.
- It was possible to temporary override the inactive status without editing every record. Maybe have a message box " The item is inactive, Refresh the data just once? Yes /Cancel"
- The active indicator on Target Source was changed to enable activation / deactivation without opening the record in edit mode. I know this is a really simple change and very quick fix.
Phil, I think the ability to support direct update (ie to be able to change the active flag without having to click edit) will likely the best approach on this ticket. I will move the request into the backlog.
