All ideas are welcome. Just because the Idea doesn't make it into the product immediately does not make it a bad idea.
We are seeing more and more customers requiring load balancing, however usually at the start of Production they only require one application server, and as such as more staff or content are required then there is a need to add extra app servers.
Currently this is quite difficult as when you install DSP is creates the standard databases. This means that to add an another application server to an existing setup, you have to backup the databases and then install the second application server and restore.
Is it possible for the next release that we get an installation package just for adding extra application servers so we don’t have to perform this backup and restore, as it can go horribly wrong if done incorrectly

David, I will move this into the requirements backlog for the framework team. The idea of a separate installation / child installation makes a lot of sense to our larger customers using multiple application server architecture.
