It would be awesome if the Current User page
1) Added email address
2) Added a page event to allow you to email everyone who is currently logged in to DSP
3) Show which page a user is currently on
4) Show which Event (if any) a user last processed on said page
The first 2 points could be easily achieved without additional logging in the DSP, the page and event logging (points 3 and 4) could potentially have a detrimental effect on performance so we will need to investigate those before consideration. I have moved this into the backlog for planning into a release.
Hey Jon,
Sending a Message via the Message box would suffice as long as it displays a big red alert. I'm thinking this would be great when doing an IIS Rest and sending a message to all the currently logged in users. I think email is the more standard form of communication that business users are already used to.

Eric, would the ability to push a system wide notification to all logged in users make more sense than sending out an email as by the very nature of the page the user must be logged in currently to the DSP, although I guess you could argue for both forms of communication to be supported?
