Need ability to add SAP F1 Help Text to FullConstruct Page

DSP provides the ability to include a Help Text Header row in FullConstruct Pages. In order to utilize this functionality, we created the following:

  • Script to format the F1 Help Text pulled from SAP's DOKTL table
  • Table to store the formatted Text
  • Page to Maintain/Edit the Help Text and push it to the DynamicHelp field of the FullConstruct Page's Catalog

Not sure where this Idea belongs.  I chose COLLECT since it provides a "SAP Text" Package Type for pulling Long Text. This is the biggest stumbling block in the process.

    We have already considered adding this functionality to the System Types and Model. Once that is implemented, it should be easy to pass the help text values into Target Design and Construct.

    This is still a pressing need and I am looking at webapp options to make this a turnkey capability. Reaching out to Tyler and Andy to understand status of this. Thanks.

    If this is still needed, contact Josh White in the Norwalk GDC. He has a solution to pull in the help text and add it in the page column watermark property.

    We should make this happen - it would make it available in map as well. Another "Just do it" enhancement IMHO.
