We are finding that Worksheet Protection causes more problems than it prevents for Full Construct source tables.

• Protection prevents Filtering
• Protection prevents Sorting
• Protection prevents Deleting a row entered by mistake
• Protection prevents Inserting a row missed during initial construction
• Users tend to work around the restriction by copying the spreadsheet to a new Workbook. This in turn causes other problems.
  • For example, if they copy rows from a spreadsheet downloaded with data then copy that to a new spreadsheet, columns that utilize Dropdowns will contain both the Target Value and Description which can not be imported.

While other projects may need to use it, we would like to "turn protection off" at the Page Level. In other words, the Page design should contain an option to enable or disable Protection.
