Integrate R into DSP

Would it be possible to integrate the R (https://www.r-project.org/about.html) language into DSP?

    When the DSP supports SQL server 2016 a new internal sp (sp_execute_external_script) will allow you to execute R from T-SQL which can be registered in the DSP.  I will mark this as planned and inherited functionality when we get SQL 2016 support. 


    in SQL 2017 Python will be added as a supported external script

    Hey Charles,

    I was thinking it would help us quickly profile data right off the bat when we go in for Data Audits. It’s probably more of a nice to have, just wanted to get the idea out there.

    Eric - Could you provide some use cases for the inclusion of this into the framework.  How will/could this be used and what is the benefit for the end customer?
