Option to display column text for images

Can we have an option in Column Properties to show column header text, even when an image is being used?  For many of our images, they can be used interchangeably in different scenarios, and it's usually only readily obvious to the person that developed the page.

 

As a default setting, I like it the way it is; but as an option, I would really like to be able to see what all columns do without having to hover over each image and remember what they do.

    After talking with JP this evening, this is already possible if the Image is set as Dynamic.

    To piggyback on this, can we have an option to display the text for an image column on the header for a page? Similar to the boaStatus column, where is shows an "S" as the header but a post-it note icon for the records on the page.
