All ideas are welcome. Just because the Idea doesn't make it into the product immediately does not make it a bad idea.
Currently, the LAYOUT option only works as a HEADER/DETAIL page. There are many examples where I would like to display one set of records in the TOP pane, and a different set of records in the BOTTOM pane, but not have a link between the two panes.
It is possbile to trick the system to get the page to work today if I put the same key on every record between the header and detail panes. Essentially no matter what record you select in the header you get the same "detail" list in the lower pane. However, this looks odd to the user because each time they change records in the top pane, the bottom pane refreshes, even though nothing changes.
Can we make the link OPTIONAL, so that if you don't specify a link, changing the TOP pane as no effect on the BOTTOM pane?
