All ideas are welcome. Just because the Idea doesn't make it into the product immediately does not make it a bad idea.
While we were allowed to use standard FTP in the discovery SAP environment to transfer files when using a standard program to load through Integrate,
And whereas FTP is effectively banned for Dev, Testing and Prod environments here due to its insecurity prone nature,
The only option for this task appears to be SFTP.
We would like to request the addition of SFTP to the available datasource types in dsp, and for that type of datasource to be available for use in Integrate as the file transfer option.
In a world where the use of FTP is becoming more and more frowned upon, it would be a benefit for the dsp platform.
We would really appreciate it if we could get a pre-release version of this feature to use at TfNSW.
