'Freeze' Pane feature on the horizontal view

During a demo of a custom application, 'dspNavigate' at Data Summit by Brad Helman, it became obvious that a 'freeze' pane function as in excel would be useful.

 

Brad - Please paste a view of your Vendor Summary page demonstrating that a very wide page would still have the proper 'key' or description fields displayed on the left.

    I variation of this is one my request list as well. On audits I spend a great deal of time even with a macro opening on average 600 reports and locking the two header rows and turning on filtering.

    Please make this a parameter that we can control for generated reports.
