This request is being opened on behalf of Vijay Naik Azmeera (vijaynaik.azmeera@ge.com), with regard to Support tickets #3383 and #3437.

Currently, it is necessary to use a basic DSN connection string (with the 32-bit ODBC Greenplum driver) and a database type of "Progress" in order to add a Greenplum data source to the DSP framework.

Additionally, there is no Greenplum connection type that is available in Collect which would allow a user to build Cranport packages for a Greenplum data source (The "Progress" connection type is not compatible).  This necessitates using Assemble and manually adjusting Assemble's "Progress" datatype conversions.
