Many times while we're implementing a DQ project, our metrics will vary widely as we dial in logic, perform testing etc. We need a way to reset the metrics capture so that the noise from those pieces doesn't influence the dashboards.
Alyssa, are you looking to be able to apply this reset logic to individual rule / enforcements or would it be across all rules in the catalog i.e. a generic reset / retention period setting. I'm assuming the former?
Of course both :). The former will give me the ability to do the latter, so I would say we can start there, yes. The idea is, if I'm in implementation mode, I need to reset my metrics before going to production. If I'm working agilely, yes, I would need to be able to do that at the rule level. It would be nice to throw a grouping of rules(like we can in orchestrate) in to reset all in that grouping.
