Impersonation of users as an admin

Giving remote support to custom DSP implementations can be somewhat of a pain.
New positions, groups, access, procedures, all need to be tested. Sometimes you need to check for youself because not all users are the same.

The ability to log in as a specific user, of course, making some sort of distintion that any action taken in that instance was by an impersonated user (for audit purposes) would be really helpful on environments where DSP is only accessed through integrated auth.

    Admin response

The problem you are trying to solve, why it is helpful is not clear.  There exists capability to log in using basic authentication even when integrated authentication is in use.  Both must be enabled and you can navigate to the DSP Login page specifically to do so.

I've commonly achieved this by assigning said user a password. I then log out of my account ,which prompts the basic login screen, and i'm able to use the userid and password to impersonate said person.
